Brilliant writing about a subject so close to you, Joan. I learned things about yews! Amazing how nature is light and dark. Much like life itself. Beautiful wreath in it's contrasting chemistry🌲❤️🌲

Yes - ‘contrasting chemistry’!

What a great post! Thank you! We have a huge old yew next to our church. The kids are always climbing it! Gulp!

Thanks - and wonderful about the old yew! Apparently they were planted near churchyards to ward people off grazing their flocks and herds in its grounds (the toxic leaves being dangerous to them and all that).

I think as long as the children don’t munch on a whole branch or pop the fruit like candy, all’s good?!

Haha! I was looking for your post that mentions yew, but did I dream it? I know we chatted about it anyway. I hope you're not feeling too poisoned as the Paclitaxel courses through. Not long to go, Hannah - you're amazing! xx Lots of love to you, too xx

Just checked, it’s at the bottom of the Riot Women post, just a brief mention.

Thank you - I don’t feel too bad actually. Am soooo excited for it to be finished in 2 weeks!

You’re amazing, I can’t wait to hear more about your pottery adventures x x x
